And now, not only can music be stored on one of these laser-red discs, but also television pictures and computer information. Latest developments like recordable CDs and multimedia computer discs have yet to make an impact on our society, but it's doubtless only a matter of time before these items too become as common as our domestic hi-fi compact disc players.
